Ornate boxfish (true colours!) repeat in rhythmic formations against bold colour fields, exploring pattern and contrast.
The repetition is the point: when you multiply a strange thing enough times, it stops being strange and starts being a statement.
The boxfish already looks designed rather than evolved, its hexagonal scale-plates forming a geometry that seems almost printed. On orange. Repeated. Warhol would have approved.
