Skipping school
The boxfish is one of nature's more improbable designs: rigid, geometric, extraordinarily coloured. It already looks designed rather than evolved. It did not need much help. Repeated across a bold colour field, it stops being strange and starts being a statement Warhol might approve of.
Three versions, three backgrounds: yellow, turquoise and pink. Each stands alone; together they can form a triptych.
