It's all geometry
Everything in nature can be reduced to a handful of forms. That was the starting point. Looking at animals differently: not as creatures, but as shapes. A line, a square, a circle, a triangle, a spiral.
The first 4 pieces in this series each take one geometric form and fills it with a single species. The geometry was already there. It just needed to be made visible. In the final work, the Fibonacci spiral, all earlier elements come together.
