Inner connection
Made shortly after a holiday in Spain, where elements of this work were photographed. During a time in which everything fell into place: the realisation that grief and joy can coexist, that loss and new beginnings are not opposites. Everything can have its own place, at the same time.
That is what this work shows. A grey heron stands still while a pangolin passes, coral grows next to black tulips, a giraffe appears at the edge, Saturn floats at the top. No hierarchy, no correct route through the image. Everything connected, everything present.
Start anywhere. It will not be the same image twice.
