First Light
Dragonflies have been on this planet for over 300 million years; long before the flowers, long before the birds, long before almost everything else that flies. They are, in that sense, among the first witnesses to light.
In this collage, a swarm of them spirals into space. The iridescent wings catch the light of something that is only just beginning to exist.
