Dragon twisting wind
Glaucus atlanticus, the blue dragon, floats upside down on the surface of the open ocean, carried by wind and current wherever they go. It is one of the strangest and most beautiful creatures in the sea: electric blue, branched, small enough to sit on a fingernail and highly poisenous.
In this collage the Blue Dragon nudibranch becomes a living vector of rotation, giving expression to the Chinese word for tornado, that translates into dragon twisting wind.
